468 & 486 Buildings

Principals 468 & 486 BUILDINGS
The faculty and staff of the 468/486 Building are excited to welcome our students and families. We created a small community that is warm, nurturing, and has a student-centered approach to learning which will help students achieve success academically and socially. We will strive for every child to meet their maximum potential by acquiring skills in ways that stimulate curiosity, foster creativity, and develop self-discipline. Our students receive a rigorous and challenging curriculum that will engage and encourage them to think in complex ways complemented by our strong specials program – art, music, physical education, Spanish, and technology. We are thrilled to announce a brand new Visual and Performing Arts wing – home to our five new Music and Art spaces.

We are proud to highlight our Innovation Lab, serving as a Makerspace STEM Lab for our Kindergarten through 4th Grade students. Students will explore concepts related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). We will promote innovative thinking leading to exciting student discoveries.

With the challenges we all face today, our dedicated faculty and staff focus on partnering with families to meet the needs of all our students to help them reach their fullest potential.  We will strive to build a strong community among all our stakeholders to meet the rigors of today’s society.  Our goal is to build partnerships with parents, guardians, and community members to provide volunteer hours to support classroom activities, field trips, and cultural programs.

If you have any questions, please contact one of us.  We are always happy to answer your questions.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education's Secretary of Education recently offered a timeline allowing school buildings to reopen to students on Thursday, April 9th (which falls during Collegium's scheduled Spring Break). In conjunction with the PDE’s timeline—and after reviewing the plans of our transporting districts—CCS now hopes to welcome all students and staff back to our campus on Tuesday, April 14th.
