After-School Care

ASC Registration for 2020-2021

After-School Care (ASC) registration for the 2020-2021 school year begins Monday, April 27th at 9:00am, and ends on Friday, May 8th. Families that successfully complete and submit their 2020-2021 ASC registration materials before the Friday, May 8th deadline will be notified of their registration status via email message by Friday, May 22nd.

Registration materials received after Friday, May 8th, will be reviewed and processed on a first-come, first-served basis for program registration or waiting list placement (depending on availability). Typically, it can take up to ten (10) business days to review, process, and confirm program registration status information.

In order to reserve space for your child(ren), please do the following:

#1. Complete the online registration form.
#2. Pay the non-refundable registration fee – $30.00 per child or $50.00 per family.
#3. Pay the August 2020 tuition: $330.00 per child.

Please submit fees to the attention of Ms. LaNae Horsey, 435 Creamery Way, Suite 300, Exton, PA 19341. Fees must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the ASC student(s) first and last names indicated on the front. Fees must be paid-in-full prior to a student beginning in the program or before a child can be placed on the ASC waiting list.

The 2020-2021 ASC registration fee is not applied to the August 2020 tuition and it is non-refundable. Full monthly tuition is due per child regardless of the number of days your child(ren) attends. There is no additional charge for care on scheduled early dismissal days. Monthly tuition rates are adjusted rates as they have been divided out equally over an 11 month period to cover the entirety of the 2020-2021 school year. Monthly tuition is not adjusted for weather-related delays or emergency school closings.

Confirmation of registration will be provided via email. Once registration is confirmed, the August 2020 tuition is non-refundable unless Collegium is able to fill your child’s space in the program with another student. If we cannot fill the space, the August tuition will not be refunded.

Q. Where is ASC?

A. ASC is held in our 150, 486, and 500 Buildings. Most of the time ASC students are in the cafeteria, but ASC also uses the playground, technology lab, gymnasium, and classrooms.

Q. What is the monthly tuition for ASC?

A. The 2020-2021 monthly tuition is $330 per month, per child. Monthly tuition rates are adjusted rates as they have been divided out equally over an 11 month period to cover the entirety of the 2020-2021 school year. Monthly tuition is not adjusted for weather-related delays or emergency school closings.

Q. When can I register my child for ASC?

A. Each spring, CCS families and incoming CCS families can participate in the ASC New Family Registration process for the upcoming school year.  After the New Family Registration process is complete, registration materials are still accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for immediate registration or waiting list placement (depending on availability).  Families are notified of their child(ren)’s registration status (either “registered” or “waitlisted”) via email after their materials are submitted and processed.

Q. Can Collegium register all students for ASC?

A. No. Due to the amount of interest generated by ASC, students are registered in the program using a lottery.  Families can participate in the lottery by completing the Registration process and submitting the applicable fees before the listed deadline.

Q. Is ASC provided on early dismissal days?

A. Yes, except when the Collegium Calendar notes an early dismissal for both students and staff. During the 2020-2021 school year, those days will be:

  • Friday, September 4th
  • Wednesday, November 25th
  • Wednesday, March 31st
  • Friday, May 28th
  • Friday, June 11th

During regularly scheduled half-days, ASC students arrive at 12:15pm and can stay until 6:00pm. Lunch is provided and there is no additional fee for the lunch or extended day at ASC. Lunch details are provided to registered families a week before each scheduled half-day. For early dismissal days only, ASC parent pick up begins at 1:30pm.
