Our 150 and 468/486 Buildings held Turkey Trots to kick off the highly anticipated Thanksgiving Break! Students and staff were encouraged to run or walk around their respective buildings as many times as they could.
Similar to PE class, students were able to wear their gym uniforms and comfortable sneakers during the Turkey Trot. Each lap they completed was marked on their hands or an index card by a teacher to measure their distance. At the end of the run/walk they could see just how many miles they completed!
Students and staff definitely worked up an appetite for some turkey at the Turkey Trot so we wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving (Thursday) and happy Native American Heritage Day (Friday).
